YPO

Greater China events (2001 and 2002)

The Young Presidents' Organization is an exclusive peer network that connects more than 9,500 young global business leaders in more than 75 nations. It is organized in chapters – autonomous entities across the world whose officers develop programs to meet the specific interests of chapter members.

In 2001, the YPO hosted its Shanghai University, an educational conference. Coming shortly after the events of September 11 and days before an APEC government summit meeting took place in Shanghai, the University faced considerable challenges but was an outstanding success. Interaction’s responsibilities were program and speaker co-ordination, logistics and on-site management.

Select YPO members are invited to join the organization's International Chapter. Following the success of the Shanghai University in 2001, Interaction was appointed to arrange a tour of Greater China for members of the YPO International Chapter the following year. The party of 80 traveled to Taipei, Shanghai and Beijing. Interaction was responsible for project management and finances, the full program of social and educational events, and coordination of all on-site logistics in each city.
