Julia Mart brings to the business a background in event management from her work in the music industry on artist promotion (A&M Records, Paris), from exhibition management in the toy sector (Hasbro Bradley, London) and, since 1989, from high level conference and event organization around the world.
She has worked and traveled extensively throughout the world and has an established network of contacts. Julia was born in the UK and spent three years living and working in France as well as time in Germany and Turkey before moving to Hong Kong in 1990. She founded Interaction in 1992.
Julia also works on events in the US in conjunction with Events Etc.

Barbara Thole joined Interaction as a partner in 1997. She was formerly director of business development for The Economist Conferences, working on business conferences and developing regular meeting programs for senior executives in Hong Kong and China, servicing over 450 companies.
Prior to joining The Economist Conferences in 1994, Barbara worked at The Pacific Rim Consulting Group, a management consulting firm, where she managed a division running similar executive meeting programs. Barbara was born in the Netherlands and has lived and worked in Hong Kong since 1991.
